Teen's Eat Healthy and Live Healthy

Teenage life is a period of intense physical, mental, physiological and intellectual growth. this period marks a time between childhood and adulthood. this is the time to create long lasting life habits and attitude. you can help a teen/ yourself grow by eating healthy and living healthy.
Teens starts from the age of thirteen to nineteen from my own new found fact.
Thirteen
Fourteen

Fifteen
Sixteen
Seventeen
Eighteen
Nineteen.
and that creates teen and age=teenage.

EAT HEALTHY
research and NHS choices has recommended that teens get at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each day. most teen fall short as a result of malnutrition. Although they get to eat three square meal daily, this happens due to ignorance of the fruits and vegetable diets. Fruit contains important vitamins and minerals every teen needs to grow and function well . it also prevents weight gain.

EXERCISE IS ESSENTIAL FOR GROWTH
exercise helps to keep the heart and lungs strong and produces a chemical that improves mood(endorphin). Teens should engage in at least sixty minutes of vigorous exercise everyday.

REST
Teen should engage in at least nine hours of sleep at night to perform well daily. most teens have grown fond of their gadgets that they can't stay a minutes without looking down on screen and electronics. they should at least engage in an hour or more of quiet time including that all electronics are turned off making the brain cells and body to relax.
